Disinfection and Measurement for Potable Water Systems

Disinfection of potable water supplies has been practiced for over 100 years in developed countries. Although the pros and cons of disinfection with chlorine have been extensively debated, it remains the most widely used chemical for disinfection of water. An overview of chlorine, chloramination disinfection and sensor technologies will be presented.
